The Barn Buggy Push takes over the cleaning of barn floors autonomously – exactly where it is needed. This reduces the daily workload and ensures continuously clean surfaces. Reliable obstacle detection and intelligently coordinated cleaning runs support animal welfare and calm in the barn. Targeted cleaning zones, a robust design and a durable battery system ensure high efficiency and reliability. Thanks to intelligent networking with feeding robots and other barn technology, the Barn Buggy Push becomes an integrated part of the Smart Barn.
Teach in once, navigate permanently: during a manual drive, the Barn Buggy Push creates a digital map of the barn. From then on, it navigates LiDAR-based and completely without magnets or transponders in the floor. Cleaning areas and driving patterns can be defined flexibly.
The Barn Buggy Push can serve as an intelligent interface to other devices and functions in the barn. Barn lighting, gates or the slurry pump, for example, can be integrated into automated processes. Cleaning and barn technology thus work together in a coordinated way. Operation is simple and flexible. Settings and cleaning schedules can be conveniently managed via smartphone, tablet or PC.
Animals and other obstacles are reliably detected. If, for example, a calf is lying in the path, the Barn Buggy Push touches the animal gently, giving it the opportunity to clear the way. If the animal stays where it is, the device recognises the obstacle and drives around it autonomously. It then continues its cleaning run.
Even difficult floor conditions do not throw the device off course. If the wheels spin on heavily soiled or slippery ground – for example on slight inclines – the system still recognises its position and keeps its orientation. Fully automatically and without manual course correction, the Barn Buggy Push safely continues its intended route all the way back to the charging station.
