Can be filled directly with square bales

Regular bedding ensures dry lying areas and improves hygiene in the pens. Precisely tailored to the needs of the animals in each pen, animal health in the barn is permanently improved. The straw only needs to be filled as round or square bales into the Port and is automatically shredded optimally by a patented cutting mechanism and straw sieve. Several times a day, fresh bedding is spread, reducing the required amount of straw by up to 50% while simultaneously improving hygiene of the lying areas. Bedding with digestate and separated slurry or pellets, sawdust or lime-straw mixture is also easily possible with the Flypit.

Smart Technology in Detail

REGULAR BEDDING RUNS

The regular bedding runs of the Flypit can be precisely tailored to the needs of the animals in each pen. The bedding quantity is individually adjustable for each pen – this effective use of bedding material enables a significant reduction in costs.

EFFICIENT DISTRIBUTION

Various technologies in the Flypit, such as conveyor belt, scales or guide plates, enable perfect and efficient distribution. Even the optimal coverage of larger areas of up to 5 m2 is no problem with the spreader disc.

Automatic Tool Changer

As an additional feature, the FLYPIT is also equipped with a tool changer. Various technologies such as conveyor belt, scales or guide plates lead to perfect distribution of the bedding material. Switching between distribution options with spreader disc, cross conveyor belt or spot bedding enables different bedding patterns.

Various Sizes

The Flypit bedding robot is available in different sizes and height variants. The flexible system can be ideally used even in low barns.
A. Device height low: 1,330 mm
B. Device height standard: 1,800 mm
C. Device height extended: 2,450 mm

FILLING VARIANTS FOR EVERY REQUIREMENT

Filling with square bales can also be done manually via a front loader directly into the Flypit. Using a cord winding mechanism, cords are inserted effortlessly and automatically rolled up at the push of a button. Alternatively, round or square bales are filled into a storage box, the MyPort, and automatically shredded optimally using a patented cutting mechanism and straw sieve. Filled via a conveyor belt or directly from the MyPort, the straw reaches the Flypit.

Lowering Device for Filling with Square Bales

The Flypit in the long version can be equipped with a new lowering device that enables effortless filling directly at ground level. Square and round bales can be loaded comfortably without mounting platforms or ladders. This function makes device management even more flexible and saves you valuable time in everyday use.
