Up to 3 m³ of feed is perfectly cut and mixed in the Power Shuttle. After customized programming, it also drives through multiple barns to present individual rations to the animals multiple times – corresponding to their natural feeding behavior. The Power Shuttle is designed for any number of roughage, concentrate and mineral types as well as liquid feed. You can create individual recipes specifically for your performance groups.
With up to 30 runs daily, our Butler Silver pushes displaced feed back to the feed barrier: hay, silage or green fodder. For "luring," it scatters small amounts of concentrate feed or minerals onto the roughage. Two different feed types can be dispensed simultaneously. This promotes the animals' natural feeding behavior and better feed accessibility leads to increased feed intake.
30 years ago, the KuhMeister – Wasserbauer's first device – took over the feeding of concentrate feed and mineral additions. Today, the CowMaster is a high-tech device with many unique advantages. The CowMaster is a classic transponder station that recognizes each animal and processes all known data on its roughage and milk production. This enables targeted feeding based on performance and milk components.
Four concentrate feed types, four mineral mixtures and a liquid dosing unit for the highest demands. The large opening guarantees trouble-free refilling even with powdery concentrate. A closure system prevents feed from trickling out; it is reliably protected from moisture.
Stressed animals produce less milk. This was the basis for the development of the CowBoy, a well-designed herding curtain with chains for room lengths of up to 100 m, various widths or for outdoor use. This saves you time every day – with 50 cows, 15 minutes per milking process, so 30 minutes daily. And the milking work can be done entirely alone.
In addition to consistency in feeding, consistency in the mixture is also of crucial importance. While in the past one relied on the eye to provide the necessary structure for building a rumen mat, shaking boxes are used today. In practice, it turns out that this piece of the puzzle is also important for a healthy and high-performance herd. With appropriate controlling, this value can be significantly increased.
A shaking box can be used very effectively to show that there are always sufficiently long particles in the ration to build and maintain the rumen mat. But as we now know, it is sufficient if approximately 10 percent by weight of a ration consists of particles longer than 1.9 cm. That is all that is needed for the rumen mat. This reduces the volume of the ration and cows can consume more of it. Today we also know that a physically effective cell wall content (peNDF) is needed for the health of the rumen microorganisms. This includes all particles in a ration with more than 4 mm in length. That is why Wasserbauer's shaking box, in contrast to others, also has a third sieve with a mesh size of 4 mm.
With SenseHub™, you monitor each individual animal or the entire group and receive practical and useful information on fertility and health as well as feeding and wellbeing. The intelligent system monitors the condition of the animals in real time and immediately sends an alert when anomalies occur. This allows you to increase efficiency while improving animal welfare.
