The selection of the right storage containers and their functionality is crucial for the successful operation of a feeding robot. Depending on the type of feed and presentation time, different Port configurations can be chosen. Wasserbauer creates the ideal feed kitchen for every farm using a modular system. Not only the best possible storage and processing of feed (loosening, cutting), but also the recurring workflow for filling the storage containers is the focus. The arrangement of the Ports is individually planned for each farm to optimally integrate them into existing buildings.
The feed is transported to the milling cutter via a scratch floor, where it is milled freshly and cleanly. The feed or straw then reaches the Shuttle Eco or Flypit directly from the Port or via a conveyor belt. Old feed is dispensed first. No cleaning of the Ports is required before refilling. When filling with compacted material (silo blocks, round bales), reheating is minimised and feed freshness is maintained. Depending on the weather, storage of up to several days is possible.
Different basic configurations and individual combination of the Ports allow a wide variety of recipes and exact dosages. This allows you to optimally plan your working time. Depending on the size of your farm, you only need to fill a Port every 3 to 4 days, allowing you to easily take weekends off.
The My PORT is the ideal solution for grass and maize silage, hay and straw as well as for silo blocks or silo bales. Blocks and bales remain in compact form. The milling rollers cut off the required quantity of feed and the animals receive a particularly fresh feed supply. The feeding or litter robot is filled directly from the PORT (free fall) or via conveyor belt.
When developing the ECO PORT storage container, we focused on the essentials. Low costs and simple handling combined with high quality was the requirement. The result impresses with a small footprint, low electrical effort for wiring and manufacturing from high-quality stainless steel. The ECO PORT also requires no conveyor belt to fill the feeding robot.
